Maitland RSL Sub-Branch building at 3 Bulwer St Maitland was rebuilt and officially opened by our then oldest serving Life Member the late 92 year old Mr. Tom Taylor  on 11 November 1999

        Message From The President

The executive and committee are dedicated to providing a continuing service which meets the needs not only of our own members but also those of all ex-service men and women and their families throughout Maitland and the surrounding Hunter Valley districts.

My Pensions and Welfare Officers are keeping up to date with Department of Veterans Affairs changes through bi-monthly network meetings which enables them to provide a constantly  improved service to our members and all ex-servicemen and women.

To help with the increasing number of pension enquiries,  Mondays  has now been set aside as our main pension day for which bookings must be made for interviews, special arrangements can be made for those outside the immediate Maitland area.

My executive and committee work hard for our members, manning the office Monday to Saturday on a voluntary basis and looking after general enquiries and the needs of our members and the whole ex-service community.

A sub-Branch is only as good as its members and in Maitland our members support is "second to none".
